Ezidebit fee update & reminders

FEE UPDATE

Ezidebit have advised that, from 1 June 2025, an additional 1.99% fee will apply to all transactions made using international credit cards. This is to cover rising fees from overseas banks.

This fee will only apply for internationally issued credit cards and the fee will be added on top of the standard card percentage, which is dependent on the type of card used, and paid by the cardholder directly.

REMINDERS

1. Ezidebit form

Please ensure you are using the current Ezidebit form which can be found within the portal HERE. This doesn't include the international card fee because it hasn't yet become effective. We will publish any updated form and will be sure to advise you when it's available.

2. Creating an invoice for a client with an automatic deduction (whether active or inactive)

   • When an automatic (Ezidebit) deduction is created in Revex the account details are securely embedded in the client’s record for ‘retrieval’ by the system when each monthly payment is due, and they also remain in Revex when the deductions cease.

   • When a new invoice is created for that client, Revex identifies that the client has embedded account details and assumes that the invoice is to be paid by automatic deduction.

   • It is very important that, to avoid inadvertent automatic deductions of newly created invoices, that you familarise yourselves with, and follow the steps contained in ‘issuing an invoice to clients with automatic deductions’ which can be found in the adviser portal Training Material page.
